Tech Angel in Your Pocket is a flexible, on-demand tech support service for business owners who want to stay in control of their tech without doing it alone.

This is ideal for those who manage their own tech but want calm, expert support when questions come up.

Instead of second-guessing yourself or losing time trying to fix things alone, you have access to clear, practical guidance as and when you need it.

The aim is simple: to help your systems work smoothly in the background, so you can spend more time focused on your creative work, confident that the tech is doing its job.

Who is this for?

This support is a good fit if you:

  • Prefer to manage your own tech, but want reassurance and expert input.

  • Regularly have “is this right?” or “what’s the best way to do this?” moments.

  • Want strategic input without booking calls or committing to ongoing support.

  • Value having someone who understands your setup and can respond in context.

It’s also ideal if we’ve worked together before and you want lighter-touch support as you continue independently

Quick help when tech questions pop up.

  • Ask questions anytime via WhatsApp message (or your preferred method) or email.

  • I respond asap and certainly within 48 hours (often sooner).

  • Choose a monthly support plan: Light (£15), Standard (£28), or Plus (£55).

  • Support time rolls over for up to 3 months while your subscription remains active.

  • If you cancel, any remaining time can be used for up to 30 days afterwards.

  • You can pause your subscription for one month at a time (up to three consecutive months) and use any rolled-over support during that pause.

  • If a question needs deeper troubleshooting or step-by-step help, we can move it to a 1:1 session.

How does it work?

1. Choose your monthly support level

Decide on the level of monthly support you think you will need. There is no commitment so you can cancel at any time - so if you think you'll only need support for 1 month that is fine.

Your first booking includes a short onboarding call so we can get to know each other and make sure this support works well for you.

2. Ask me anything, anytime

When a tech question pops up, simply send a message. You’ll have direct access to me via WhatsApp or email.

You can include screenshots, links, screen recordings if it helps you to explain what you're trying to do.

3. Get clear, practical guidance

This sevice is designed for quick questions and guidance. I’ll help you understand what to do next or point you in the right direction.

I’ll respond with answers, suggestions, or walkthroughs to help you move forward. I will respond within 48 hours (often sooner).

Tech Angel in Your Pocket is there so you know help is available if and when you need it. If it looks like you’re not using much of your time, I’ll occasionally check in to make sure the subscription still makes sense for you - I’m not comfortable taking money for something that isn’t being useful.

You don’t need to struggle with your tech - sometimes the most sustainable choice is having someone in your corner, so the tech quietly supports your work while you focus on what you do best.

I don't use WhatsApp, can I still use this service?

WhatsApp is my preference but please let me know if you prefer a different means of communication. We could even use email if you prefer.

How soon will I get a reply?

I will aim to respond promptly and the same day where I can. Please check the terms & conditions for more details.

How is my time tracked?

Each plan includes a set amount of support time. Behind the scenes I track the time spent answering questions so things stay fair for everyone.

Who is the Tech Angel in my Pocket?

Unless otherwise stated, your Tech Angel in your pocket will be me, Rachel Boleyn, founding Tech Angel.

I am a very experienced Tech VA and love helping people! I don't promise to know all the answers but I will do my best to help you.

What sort of thing can I ask you about?

Anything goes! If it is to to do with the Tech you use for your business then feel free to ask.

You can ask about a specific issue you are having - e.g. something not working properly - or ask about hypothetical things, such as "I would like to do xyz, what is the best way to do this?"

What happens if my question is too involved/troubleshooting is needed?

If something turns out to need more investigation or hands-on troubleshooting, we can work through it together on a 1:1 support call. I offer these to Tech Angel in My Pocket clients at £84/hour pro-rata, so I’d only charge for the time we actually use (e.g. 15 mins £21, 30 mins £42, 45 mins £63, 60 mins £84).

Can I carry over unused time? When do I have to use it by?

Unused time can be rolled over for up to 3 months before it is expires while your subscription remains active, so you don’t need to worry about using it immediately.

What happens if I don't use my time?

Unsued time will be rolled over for up to 3 months but then if not used, it expires.

I’ll check in with you if you’re not using the service much.

This service is meant to be helpful, not something you feel obliged to pay for. If it looks like you’re not using your time, I’ll occasionally check in to make sure the subscription still makes sense for you. If you are happy to keep it active for the peace of mind of knowing I am on hand, then great - but you also can pause or cancel the subscription if that makes more sense.

What happens if I cancel?

If you cancel your subscription, any remaining support time you have not used can still be used for up to 30 days after the cancellation date. You can cancel at any time - there is no tie-in.

Can I pause my subscription?

Yes, you can pause your subscription for one month at a time, for up to three consecutive months in total.

During the pause you may still use any support time that has rolled over. After the pause period ends, the subscription will restart automatically.
